- The more characters in your handwriting/signature, the smaller the characters' size will be on your bar.

- It may be best to use a small piece of paper (1.5” x 0.25”) that simulates the size of the bar pendant to ensure the best results. The engraving will be exactly as in your picture, just smaller.

- The better image quality, clarity, and decent lighting, and the less busy the background, the better the engraving results, so make sure to take a clear image that doesn't have to be close up. The best is black or dark ink on blank white paper.

- If the handwriting/signature has space/gaps on the strokes (along the handwriting) due to the ink not being smooth, there will also be some space/gaps on the engraving.

- If the stroke of the handwriting is thin, such as using a thin-tip pen, please expect thin/narrow engraving. Therefore, if the handwriting uses a thick pen, the engraving will come out dense; if the handwriting uses a thin pen, the engraving will come out thin.
